I am a 30 years old screenwriter, director and editor. Started my film career back in 2017 by filming the biggest and oldest tradicional city festival in Coimbra, named "Queima das Fitas", with an IPhone 7. It was my first ever atempt of filming something by myself. Before that, I had spent more than 6 month just watching tutorials and learning about filmmaking. When I released the video, in less than 24 hours it was everywhere. TV, on everyones social media, blogs, literally everywhere. This was the beginning of my journey. I went on by doing promotion videos and commercials for brands, instituitions, companies, influencers, and than music videos for a lot of artists.  Since than I have produced, directed and edited over 200 videos, including the once I've already mentioned, and behind the scenes, trailers for albums and singles, and most recently, weddings.
I have also been writing screenplays for myself, and for clients.

My most notorious work include:

- a documentary called "Olhares sobre o racismo" , about the last 30 years of anti-racism fight in Portugal. I was one of 3 directors on this project, and the editor and motion designer. It was the first ever documentary about racism in Portugal directed by black people. The documentary was exhibit all over the country.

- my short film "Mulher". Selected in 3 different film festivals, and awarded in two of them with "Best Poster - JAISALMER INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL" and "Best Short film - GANGTOKINTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL". I didn't create any script for this one. I imagined the film in my head, and choreographed the fight. I was also the director and editor.

- my most recent short film called "Untold", which I wrote, produced, directed, edited and graded. The short is about an odd man in a interrogation room acused of kidnapping and rape.

- and also a few music videos, such as "Stay by Dj Zanova", "Barracada by Deejay Télio", "Don't Let Me Go by Nelson Freitas and Daecolm" and "Avantgarde by Gilli". All of them available on Youtube. For "Stay" I was the screenwriter, producer, director and editor. For "Barracada" I was also the screenwriter and producer, and also the co-director, creative director and the art director. For "Don't Let Me Go I was the producer, director and editor. "For "Avantgarde" I was the producer and editor.

I like to stand out by creating strong stories with an element of symbolism and surrealism. I always try to make my audience think about what they are seeing and hearing. I feel that we all have the responsibility to contribute not only with our art, when we are lucky enought to have that gift, but also by adressing social issues important for our community and human growth.
